People in it just to make money, but not willing to take the time to learn how to run the company successfully, nor passionate enough to make the proper decisions or listen to the actual people playing the games. Pretty much how I view HiRez's management.
Left that company soon after (many other problems including sexual harassment against other employees, breaking workers rights laws, huge safety issues, etc) to another industry entirely, as it really did kill any passion I had for that industry sadly. Only to have the complete idiot owner decide to dump four inches of soil on top of the thing, only for them and the plants to get washed away after two rains, ruining all the work we did. Spent two weeks moving soil, weeding, grading, etc. Busted my ass putting in a nice garden in front of the company (we sold plants, so was highly relevant to what we did). It really kills any interest and passion you have, since you know no matter how hard you work, how good the idea/project is, it'll inevitably be killed off anyway due to the idiots without passion or necessary knowledge to do their job correctly, or listen to those who are passionate and knowledgeable.
